Epoxy Flooring or Epoxy Coating or Epoxy Floor Paints have outstanding Chemical resistance, durability, low porosity and strong bond strength. Hence, it is applied on floors to save it from wear and chemicals. Epoxy is a thermosetting resin, which is used in adhesives, coatings and as a finish cover over repaired or patched concrete to provide an attractive texture and uniform finish. Industrial Epoxy Flooring is available in choice of colors.

The industrial epoxy flooring has strong adhesive properties like they resist chemicals, durable, water resistant, easy to use, non inflammable, resist dirt and dust, and the application of the industrial epoxy flooring is quite inexpensive and economical.

Epoxy is basically a thermosetting resin used chiefly in strong adhesives and coatings and laminates. Epoxy coatings or epoxy paints are often used on floors because of their reputation for toughness and durability from wear and chemicals. Epoxy Flooring systems or epoxy systems seem to be an area where many epoxy flooring manufacturers cut corners to lower price. These low cost ‘watered-down' epoxies also have ‘watered-down' performance. As with most things, you get what you pay for. A call must be made as to the quality of the epoxy needed for the job at hand.

Epoxy coatings / epoxy Flooring / Polyurethane coatings are used because of their outstanding chemical resistance, durability, low porosity and strong bond strength. Better protective coatings are available but not as common, field applied, brush-on, roll-on, or trowel-on coatings. Flor epoxy coating consist of a ‘base' and a ‘curing' agent. The two components are mixed in a certain ratio. A chemical reaction occurs between the two parts generating heat (Exothermic Reaction) and hardening the mixture into an inert, hard ‘plastic'. Often concrete epoxy coating are topcoated with latex or urethanes that will retain their color and attractive gloss. Epoxy Flooring are ideal for restoring eroded concrete and for use in high traffic and severe condition areas. Epoxy resin flooring creates a strong, dense surface at a fraction of the cost of slab replacement.

Product application involves floor preparation. Often sections of the floor will also need to be patched, leveled, filled or repaired. The key steps for application of any concrete epoxy flooring is preparation of the surface, which is critical, and the application of a one or two coat system. Then, use of Epoxy Base Sealer is done which should be applied on completely dry surface so as to get excellent bonding with Concrete/Wooden Surfaces. After drying of the Sealer, application of Two Component base enamel is done, so as to acheive Chemical resistance, Heat Resistance and Anti Corrosive properties.

Epoxy Screeding

Screeding is leveling and smoothing the top layer of a material that is poured, such as high solid epoxy, so the material is the same height as the forms, or guides, that surround it. This can be commonly used on uneven surface to make it even. When applied on concrete surface, it gives high strength epoxy screed flooring, capable to withstand extremely high loading, wear & chemicals resistance. Screeding is normally done on floors where time is a big constraint and cement repair are not possible. But it has certain drawback that it cannot be done on wet surface unlike cement. Therefore for best result the surface must be absolutely dry before its application. Screeding can be done in various thicknesses starting from 1mm to 15mm depending on floor conditions.

Wooden Coatings

Paint is a widely used material to preserve, waterproof and add beauty to numerous surfaces in a wide variety of applications. Doors and windows, metal grills and furniture have a common type of paint for coating or wooden painting them: enamel paint. But unlike furniture, doors and windows are embedded in walls making them susceptible to dampness. Polyurethane Finishes are the modern alternative to old-fashioned varnishes and painting furniture items with enamel paints. These are synthetic and provide an extremely tough, transparent protective coating. They allow the beauty of the wood grains to show through. Unlike varnishes, they are too easy to maintain and stand up to rigorous wear and tear, heat, liquid and stains. Available in both matt and glossy finishes, they can be used on a wide variety of wooden surfaces including old and new furniture.
